Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion (MDA) is a safe and effective exfoliant that will rejuvenate your skin. After a MDA treatment, your skin will feel softer, appear smoother and you’ll notice softening of fine lines and wrinkles. It can also help minimize acne scars, sun-damaged skin and even out your skin tone. We perform both crystal and crystal-free forms of MDA. Microdermabrasion can be combined with a physician prescribed facial peel for even more dramatic effects. We have several different chemical peels including skin lightening and acne treatments, as well as treatments specifically for men. How does it work?
Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive procudre where very fine, sterile crystals are sprayed across the surface of the skin. They gently abrade away dirt and damaged surface cell layers, leaving the skin smoother and more vibrant.
What areas can be treated?
Microdermabrasion is most often performed on the face, but can be performed on most skin surfaces.
How long does the procedure take?
It depends on the area being treated. Typically, the procedure requires 10-15 minutes for the face, but may require more time depending on the body area.
Is it painful?
Generally, the procedure is gentle; however, this may vary depending on the individual and body area being treated.

How many treatments are required?
Treatments are provided in a series of sessions, usually at one to two week intervals.
What results can I expect?
You should expect and improvement in the appearance of oily or dull skin, enlarged pores, acne scars, fine lines and wrinkles, and even skin color. Your skin should feel smooth and your skin tones equalized.

Can I still wear make-up?
Yes, makeup can be applied immediately after the procedure.
